Last post from this URL

Hello dear friends.

This will be the last post from the organized-living-solutions.com url.
On Sunday, Susanne will move the blog to www.juttadobler.com, while I am giving a yoga retreat in the Erongo
mountains.

Please come with me when I move!

I have been rather quiet on the blog these last couple of days. But I have been doing a lot of thinking.
About what it is that I want to say, why I want to say it, where it will lead, and what the point is of it all :-).

The main thing that came up, is that I want to be honest.
Most of us have the tendency to censor heavily when we write blog posts. As a result, a lot of bloggers seem to have a 'perfect' life. Lovely children, sunshine, excursions and happy faces all around. Which is great.

But which also sometimes leaves me just a little bit bored (and occasionally really pisses me off, when I am having a not-so-perfect day myself...) The blogs I am interested in reading are the ones that make me feel like I get to know the whole person. Somebody that has joyful times but that also sometimes struggles, or gets irritated, or questions. Somebody I can relate to.

So from now on, there will still be lots of sunshine (unavoidable in Namibia :-) ), but there will also be a lot more 'real life'.

See you on the other side!

Big hug

A good-bye and a fresh new start!

After further discussions with Susanne and some soul-searching, I have stopped fighting.

The blog will move to it's new home, juttadobler.com, on the 10th of March.

Here the new header as it is now (might still change...):

We cannot do a re-direct from the old URL to the new one, as the domain hosting the blog (www.organized-living-solutions.com) will also have to be closed down (read more about the reasons for this here).

So if you want to be part of this new adventure, you will have to subscribe again through google friend connect, blogloving, rss feed etc, once the switch has been made. All the content of the blog will move to the new address.

The new facebook page is up already, as the old one will also have to be closed down.

Here it is:

http://www.facebook.com/TalesOfLoveAndChocolateJuttaDobler

I am sure one of these days I will realize why all of this happened...
Until then, all I can do is trust the process.

Lots of love,

Back home from Cyberspace Odyssey

Hello my darling friends

The blog is back!!!!!! (And should it disappear again, you will find me under www.juttadobler.com :-) )

I didn't take any pictures in the last week, so here are some from right now, Sunday morning

Funny, I managed all the recent changes in my life so well, staying in my power, breathing deeply, not going into self-pity...

But the blog disappearing somehow was the last straw for this particular camel :-).

In the beginning, I did everything I knew to get the blog back, typing endless questions into google, firing off long-winded letters to support stuff both at blogger and at my web domain host.

Nothing worked.

Then I bought five Olivia Goldsmith books and went to la-la land whenever my attention and food making skills (I use that term lightly) were not needed.

And I woke up every night at around 3h30 going over and over all the possibilities I might have left out.

In those nights, I also tried to figure out WHY that was happening. What was I supposed to realize? Why have I created this? Did I spent too much time on the blog? Was I meant to do something else with my life?

But none of it felt right. I think I have quite a good balance between blogging and life. And I do enjoy it so much, so how
can it possibly be wrong?

It took me a very long time to figure out that there was something else I could be doing.

Big drum roll, and time for all you well adjusted people to gently shake your head:

I could actually ask for help!

This for me, was an epiphany. Ridiculous, I know, but true all the same.

So after explaining to myself that she probably wouldn't have time or interest to help, and that this would be ok, I send off an email to my lovely friend Susanne, owner of Berchtold Software Development and Training

And she jumped right in! Without taking any payment, she sent off e-mails at four in the morning (which she says are normal working hours for her :-) ), pushing and begging and not giving up until the so-called support stuff actually did some supporting.

And now the blog is back, and I learned a big lesson and am so very grateful to my dear friend!

Susanne is busy re-directing this address to www.juttadobler.com, so I will not get sued by the company that is so threatened by me having a similar name.

In case there are problems again, at least now you will know where to find me :-).

A big hug to all of you on this beautiful Sunday, I missed you so much but was too depressed to answer e-mails...
Thanks for your concern and encouragement!

Lots of love,

Questioning and happiness

Last week, I got a lawyers' letter saying that I have to close my website/blog, because there is a company
in Ohio selling organizing paraphernalia that is called 'Organized Living'. I am apparently stepping on their
toes by misleading their costumers and by using their good name to get readers.
So far, they have managed to block my facebook account in the US.
Before naming my website, I did an extensive search for name availability and 'Organized Living Solutions'
came back as being available.

I don't know if they can somehow block this blog too, so I am writing this to prepare you. Should the blog
disappear, please look for me under 'Jutta Dobler' (if you want to that is).

I am also writing this to make sense of what is happening. I started my website three years ago (and the
blog a year and a half ago), and have put countless unpaid hours into both.

The website doesn't interest me that much anymore, but I so love the blog. I love connecting with you.
I love the safe space it provides, independent from relationship or work issues.

Quite some time ago, I made the decision to take everything that happens in my life as benefiting me,
even if I do not see immediately how it might do that. I am sticking with that now, although so far I am
still rather blind.

But one strange and wonderful thing did happen yesterday.

While driving, I suddenly had a surge of happiness come over me. It was completely unrelated to what is
going on in my life (and had nothing to do with taking mood altering substances :-) ).

I was just happy. Then, because I couldn't understand it, I thought about my failed marriage, and about the
uncertainty about the blog, and it didn't change a thing. I was still happy!

Odd but lovely :-).

I have read often that being happy is (or can be) independent from your circumstances, but I never experienced
it before. Maybe all that 'being in the moment' is starting to have an effect.

So now I can tell you: we really can be happy no matter what.

And if you don't believe me, I leave you with this guy to sprinkle some magic dust:

Hugs to you dear friends,
