Back home

We are back home.

From warm, moist and green to icy cold, brown and very, very dry.
As you can probably gather, I am not all that enthusistic about being back yet.

Also because we had to hit the floor running. Eva's school started the morning we got back, new teacher, new grade, new classmates...
Yeah, I know, these things could be planned better, but we were both determined to enjoy our vacation as long as possible.
And we had such a wonderful time!

So now the animals want a lot of attention, so does the house, the garden, the car, and of course the humans.
Once things have calmed down a bit I will get back to blogging regularly, and to catching up with all my favorite blogs.
I missed you guys!

The plan for this afternoon was actually to unpack my new sewing machine and get going, but we took forever to do Eva's homework and now it is nearly time again for supper.

Here are some pics of one of our last days in Germany:

We started off along a little stream where lots of models of water-driven machines were tingling and grinding and cutting tiny branches:

Then Eva had to do some climbing:

We found some refreshment along the way:

And made some new friends:

Then we visited an old monastery:

More pictures?!?

And on the way home we stopped at a corn maize. All in all, it was a wonderful excursion!

And now I have to make supper.

A beautiful day to all of you.

Lots of love,

  12. An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
