Folding origami cranes

In Germany, my niece showed me how to fold cranes out of origami paper.
And then she showed it to me again.
And again.

After the fifth time I was pretty confident that I would be able to remember how to do it.
Unfortunately I was wrong.

Luckily I found this. After watching it many many a couple of times I am now a crane folding expert.

In fact, I did get rather carried away. And now we have a lot of colorful birds in the house and I have no idea what to do with them...

At least some found a new home on a lamp and will probably stay there until my man gets entangled in them once to often.

Have a lovely start to the weekend!

  5. How sweet that your niece *taught* you how to make these. I am sure all your wonderful vacation memories took the place of how to make them out of her head. Glad you refreshed your memories when you got back home and shared all your beautiful cranes. They look really lovely.
