Recycled Christmas Tree Ornaments

Eva will be back from school in half an hour. Lunch is prepared, and the house is clean(ish).

Time to do some crafting.

At the moment, I quite enjoy taking things I already have, and turning them into something else.

This is what I started off with:

It is again a very simple project.

Just cut stars out of the box (I printed a template from the internet), punch a hole into them, and decorate.

Seeing that we definitely will not have a white Christmas here,  I wanted to use something that at least looks like snow.

The desiccated coconut worked nicely :-)

Here some more variations:

Now I must just decide on a Christmas tree...

Have a wonderful day!

Lots of love,

  2. Love the simplicity of the cardboard stars! The embellishments are so pretty and the coconut does look like snow....which we don't have any of. Almost 70 here again today! Nice project...you know I love simple!
