Whenever I see a skip, I get the compulsion to check it out.
In general, skips in Africa are much more disappointing than their European counterparts.
What ends up in here is normally really rubbish. But every now and then I get lucky.
Like yesterday. There was an intriguing looking skip on the way home from yoga, and inside where lots of grey-green
soft branches with tiny leaves.
I have no idea what they are called, but they were perfect for a simple wreath.
On the inside, I used the wire from the apple wreath, and attached the branches with the help of some florist wire.
Then I put some raffia around it and added a little garland of wooden stars.
It fits nicely with my concrete candle holders.
Despite it being hot and sunny outside, the pictures look suitably cosy :-).
Now I just need some snow to go with it...
Have a wonderful Tuesday filled with light, joy and beauty!
Lots of love
Ps: I am linking to these lovely parties and to creadienstag.
