How to not organize a party, or, envelope DIY

According to the party planning list, on Tuesday morning I am supposed to call my friends, and ask them to surrender
their plates, glasses, cutlery and chairs to me.

I actually manage to sit down at my desk, when I remember that Eva is in urgent need of some warm clothes.
Seeing that she has a birthday coming up, I decide to give her money so she can go and buy herself pants and some sweat-shirts for winter.
She will probably come back with flimsy t-shirts and about a hundred pairs of earrings, but it will at least be to her liking
(her mum's great taste doesn't really cut it anymore...).

Of course I immediately have to make something to present the money in style!

My lovely friend Esther regularly gives me the sweetest little envelopes she makes herself, and I decide to do something similar. Esther even provides a template for the envelopes!

I used different paper I cut out from a magazine, glueing things on top of each other until I liked the look of it.

Here is the finished product:

And now it is once again time to cook lunch...

If anybody wants to lend me 20 champagne glasses, please let me know :-).

Lots of love,

Hey! This is a very nice tutorial and a cute envelope. However, the MMM (Me made Mittwoch) attempts to allow people to show their selfmade clothes. So the platform is not meant for other crafty projects. Please do not take this critique as an offense.
