Decorating with fresh apples - a DIY

There is dust on the floors all over the house.
There are white, round spots, like the footprints of some small animal, from heels that stepped into fresh paint
and walked it off on the way out.
There are the contents of Eva's room being squashed into my office.
There are a lot of things to be sold at a flea market piling up in my bedroom.
And there are fat clouds building up over a roof that isn't sealed properly yet.

But there are also two beautiful, clean, sorted rooms that only contain things I love and use.

And there is the hope that the whole house will look like that soon...

So when I got the crafty itch again yesterday, an idea I saw on the lovely blog Craftberry Bush came back to me.

A project that looks gorgeous, smells delicious, is so beautiful, and has a limited life-span.

Perfect!

To do the same, take some apples and push a thick wire through them. Then decorate with the leaves of a climber:

Once the apples start to shrink I will put it out for the birds.

I am linking to Credienstag and to some of these lovely parties.

Wishing you a Tuesday filled with natural beauty and gratitude!

Lots of love,

BTW - my white all over the floors is usually dust prints from sanding lol

  23. That's certainly an original version of a wreath - but wonder what the creeper is? Doesn't ring any chimes with me, but it does look very pretty with the apples. Read this with enjoyment as a fellow guest on this week's blog hop, and plan to follow you and others. Have invited them, and now do the same to you, to visit my blog at www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com. You'd be most welcome. Look forward to it! Isobel
