Little baubles

Yesterday I packed all the Christmas decoration away.
At first, it felt quite good, clean and clear and fresh.

But this morning I realized that I am missing the little pink and red baubles.

So up they went again, together with some string lights and my plastic deer.

It is the strangest thing about these deer. I pack them away, and suddenly they are back.
Popping up on the side table, in the flower pot, even on a birthday cake.

Odd and slightly freaky...

Anyway, enough rambling about forest creatures.

Time to collect Liesls' daily egg, play with the puppy, and think sweet thoughts.

Have a beautiful day!

Lots of love,

  1. You're licensed to keep them up until Jan. 6 - after which, if you want your luck to keep on going, they should be put away (I've sometimes waited until the week-end, when Epiphany falls mid-week, and - so far - got away with it!)

  3. It looks awesome! I would leave it up all year :-) I have been considering putting Christmas lights under my kitchen cabinets for a bit more light when I am cooking :-)

  5. I love it! I love each little detail. I love the clean pallet it is set against. I am about to pack up my decorations. I too am looking forward to less clutter but I think this sweet touch that you put back up is the perfect blend of a bit of color, cheer and is quite *deer*.

  6. You can't really call deer a Christmas ornament so keep them around all year if you feel like it!
